Dominion Energy - No Information
I have been without power for two days due to Storm Michael. There is no one to contact to find out when power might be re-established.
This is unacceptable. Even website searches (when I get to a place with power) say there is no information available. How are people supposed to do any planning with no information? On a related note, why is Dominion so unprepared for these kind of events?
Why aren't they working to update their infrastructure? Also, I live in a rural town. Three streets up there is power.
I understand this is not related to the actual power crews--this is a management problem. Again--unacceptable in the 21st century.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $150.
Preferred solution: Get better management who knows how to prepare effective contingency plans..
Location: Charlottesville, Virginia

I AGREE TOTALLY. I would have had power along with my neighbors YESTERDAY..had the infrastructure actually WORKED.
I reported that a switch on the pole in our driveway had Tripped...TWICE..TO a REAL person..not a system..They came into our area..restored..CLOSED the work order and LEFT! Amazing..never walked the line to insure everyone was on.
They call themselves Lineman..I call them overpaid utility service personnel! I'm not trying to subsidize their next vacation!
